Youth and Family
Who are we?
The Denver Church of Christ Youth and Family Ministry is a group of individuals that love God, our families and our neighbors. This ministry is a place where our young teens (6th-8th grade) and our older teens (9th-12 grade) can come together to have a great time, while learning how to be the people God has them to be. We, as a church, believe that it is a team effort to raise our children. Our youth activities include fun events, teen camp, youth rallies and devotionals. These allow us to build deeper faith, more meaningful relationships and a greater understanding of God and the Bible.
This ministry aims not only to help the teens, but to be a resource for parents as well as they strive to teach and love their children as best they can. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and through faith in Him and obedience to His Word, we receive his grace and salvation. As a ministry and as individuals, we strive to demonstrate Jesus’ example in our daily lives in order to have an impact on the world around us. Our youth activities and events (parent teen devotionals, fun events, teen camp, youth rallies, etc.) allow us to build deeper faith, more meaningful relationships and a greater understanding of God and the Bible.
Resources for Teens/Students
We're excited to have you join us for our 2023 Teen Rally! We will meet outside the park at 10am on Saturday, September 9th . The Y&F team will stay until around 4pm but the teens are welcome to stay longer than that with parental permission. There will be a lesson, prizes, lunch (provided from 12-1:30pm), and pavilion location TBD. Registration price is $50 per teen ( but if they have season pass the price will be $20 per teen.) Who: All High Schoolers (9th - 12th grades) When: 10am Saturday, September 9th, 2023 Where: Elitch Gardens, 2000 Elitch Cir, Denver, CO 80204 What: Lesson and Lunch (12-1:30pm) Cost: $50 per teen* *with season pass the price will be $20 per teen Register HERE! **Please be aware that this event is more than our usual Teen Devo.
