Youth Ministry
Our mission for the Denver Church of Christ youth ministry is to develop a love and understanding of God through His word and relationships, in both fun and exciting ways; that form a solid foundation for our children's walk with God.
We strive to provide inspiration, resources and support for families to reinforce fundamental character development and Biblical concepts in the home.
We desire to help each child to ultimately make a decision to live as a disciple of Christ and become life long learners of God.
We all live in a world of increasing uncertainty. There are so many things that challenge our faith and the faith of our young people. That's why the entire Denver Church of Christ has been so passionately supportive of our Youth Ministry!! I deliberately say Youth Ministry and not just teen ministry because the challenges of faith and the questions about God begin well before the teens years hit. Consequently, we have active ministries for kids of all ages.
Our dreams for these ministries center around two goals.
- Inspire each child to develop a passionate and personal relationship with God.
- Help each of them develop deep and meaningful relationship with their peers.
It is to these aims that we plan every devotional, summer camp and special activity. Our thinking (and personal experience!) is that a person who is experiencing these two relationships in a sincere way is destined to experience real spiritual growth. And what could be more gratifying than that?!
