Married & Family Ministry

The Denver Church of Christ has an exciting Married and Family Ministry that is committed to growing in our relationships with God and with one another. We believe that strong marriages and families are a top priority and are vital in creating a stable and mature atmosphere in the church as well as being a light to the world.. We also recognize that marriage is not easy. All of us need encouragement and direction to learn how to be great spouses and parents.

God’s purpose in creating marriage was to be united – to create a union that is deep and meaningful and that transforms two individuals into a unified whole. The goal of our married ministry is to provide resources and encouragement to help your marriage be unified and glorious. Too often we can neglect our marriages or settle for mediocrity, rather than having marriages that are a light to the world.

Resources

Dynamic Marriage Classes:
Dynamics Marriage is an intensive 9 week class that focuses on learning to understand our spouses more deeply, how to identify their needs and how to practically meet those needs. The Denver church of Christ has several trained facilitators and offers courses several times throughout the year. For more information on these life changing classes please contact the church office.

Retreats:
The Denver Church of Christ hosts an annual Marriage Retreat. This will be a great to get away from all of the distractions and focus on our marriages.

T2 Discipleship Groups:
In Titus 2: 3 we are given the instruction for the “older women to teach the younger women”. Each month several T2 groups meet where the women discuss topics relating to marriage and family. The setting is informal and women of all ages meet together to share their experience and spiritual insights with one another in order to help one another grow into more godly women.

PREPARE/ENRICH Program:
The PREPARE/ENRICH Program is used for premarital counseling, marriage preparation, and marriage enrichment. PREPARE/ENRICH includes a comprehensive couple assessment along with feedback using skills building exercises. The Denver Church of Christ has several trained facilitators who can help couples as they prepare to be married or if they are already married and are looking for deeper ways to connect

Parenting Workshops:
Parenting Workshops provide biblical parenting foundations as well as age specific strategies.
