
The Denver Chapter of HOPE worldwide is the benevolent arm of the Denver Church of Christ. Throughout the year, opportunities to volunteer in our community are organized.
January Activity Information
What: MLK Day of Service
When: Saturday, January 14, 2012
Time: 8:30 AM - Noon
Purpose: Like the previous 4 years, we will be partnering with the American Red Cross to distribute fire safety information and have conversations with residents about the importance of home fire safety.

What: Remember the Poor
When: Sunday, March 18
April Activity Information
What: National Volunteer Week
When: April 15 - 21, 2012
Purpose: - Family groups are encouraged to participate in a service project
August Activity Information
What: Give Back
When: Sunday, August 5, 2012
Purpose: FEach Family group is encouraged to purchase a child's back pack and fill it with school supplies. Backpacks should be brought to church on August 5th. They will be distributed to needy children.
September Activity Information
What: 9/11 Week of Service and Remembrance
When: September 9 - 15, 2012
Purpose: Family Groups are encouraged to make cards and baked goods and deliver them to fire stations, police stations and military families.

What: Rake Up Colorado
November Activity Information
What: HOPE International Day of Giving
When: Sunday, November 18, 2012
Goal: We encourage each person to donate $60 to HOPE worldwide

Purpose: We will collect new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children of all ages
