Diversity Weekend in Honor of Black History Month

The leadership of the Denver Church of Christ is pleased to announce exciting plans to celebrate and explore our diversity in honor of Black History Month the evening of Saturday  February 18th and Sunday morning February 19th.  We’re thrilled to have Scott and Thereasa Kirkpatrick of Columbia, South Carolina back again this year to lead our hearts toward a greater understanding of Jesus’ teaching on this timeless topic.  This past year has seen some of the greatest tension among the many races, cultures and religions in our nation’s history.  As Christians, all of us want to be “ready to give an answer” as to how to treat others unlike ourselves both in and outside the church.  Scott heads up an initiative for the International churches of Christ to promote unity among the diverse membership in our U.S. churches.

Please plan to join us:

Saturday February 18th 7:00 pm and
Sunday February 19th 10:00 am
LifeSource Adventist Church
6200 W. Hampden Ave.
Denver, CO  80227

Refreshments will be provided although child-care will not. Please make arrangements for your evening considering both of these particulars.
